This course is meant for people who teach a group in whatever capacity or are interested in doing so, but do not want to aim for a full certificate for the time being. If you always wanted to know more about the ins and outs of teaching techniques, how to best describe steps and formations or how to break a dance down into teachable bits - then this course is made for you!

Fees

Course Fee (accommodation and full board not included)

The course fee has to be paid to the Central Germany Branch in advance.

Separate Fees for accommodation and full board

You have to book your own accommodation separately.

We recommend to book a room at the Hotel Bonnox, as we plan to organise transportation to and from the venue at Burgschule. At the day of arrivel, we will arrange for your room keys to be picked up, if you wish so. The basecamp is in direct neighborhood.

Bonnox Hotel offers a smaller amount of rooms, subject to a reduction, for bookings coming in up until end of March. At the time of reservation, refer to the keyword "Scottish Dancing / Schottentanz".

At the gymnasium, we offer drinks and snacks at a very low price. During the bigger break before the social at night, we will collect orders for pizza.

Cancellation policy for course fees

If you cancel prior to 2 months before the course start, we can refund you the full price. Thereafter, we can only refund you - either with a replacement from the waiting list (if there is one) or if you provide a replacement yourself. Otherwise, we retain the course fee.

For cancellations that require a refund, we charge 5 € cancellation fees.

Fine print, disclaimer

In exceptional cases, such as illness, teachers and musicians, we reserve the right to exchange or replace at short notice or to cancel courses. The participants are responsible for courses for themselves and their property.
